Ha ha! Karolyn that is hilarious!! :) One of my cats will let me know
when I've been on the computer too long...he'll jump up on the desk and
stand (usually butt-first) between my face and the computer screen if I
don't respond to his initial protests!

Subject: Re: will a dog stress out my FELV + cat?

Hi, I use to have a cat that was jealous of my being on the phone. First
he would get up on my desk and SCREAM in my ear. When that didn't work
to get me off the phone he would jump down and with one bite cut the
phone cord. I always had to keep several cords on hand at all times.
About the dog. I would get one from a shelter that has one that likes
cats. Then when I get the dog home I would keep him in a cage to see how
the cats react. Otherwise, after you have the dog in the cage you should
back out of the way and let nature take its course. Be VERY PATIENT and
see how it goes.
