I took Yellow to the vet tonight because it
appeared he lost control of his back legs. The vet said that he may
have a slipped disk, and if that were the case, he would have to have
surgery. Considering his lowered immune system because he is FELV
positive and on steroids, it is very doubtful that he could have made it
through the surgery. The vet said that she could put him on some
painkillers, but that he wouldn't regain use of his back legs. I
couldn't stand for him to go through any more. He has suffered enough
as it was, so I helped him cross the bridge.
Thank you all who have been supporting me
through this difficult time. It was exactly three months ago yesterday
that he was diagnoised, and I believe that he suffered enough.
