We use 10 mg tablets cut in half (we started on 3 mgs and then went to 5mgs
a day for a 9 lb cats). We crush it and put it in a bit of baby food.

My vet prescribed the Prozac. The first time I had to take the prescription to a normal pharmacy and they were very confused about the small dosage. I think Prozac for cats is an "off-list" use. Thankfully my vet has an arrangement with a compounding pharmacy and the Prozac is made into a flavoured cat chew.
We have another cat who has been on beta blockers for a year. The compounding pharmacy has saved our life. No more trying to force pills down the cats' throats.
The Prozac is pricey though. I'm in Canada and it costs us about a dollar a day.
