Barbara,
  Please have your vet consult with an oncologist or internal medicine
vet (unless she is one), have the test results reviewed by the
specialist and then they should let you know if a biopsy or further
tests are needed, Buddie's cancer was confirmed by an ultra sound and
biopsy.  Her bloodwork and xray were suspitious but we needed the
further testing to get the exact diagnosis as far as exactly what kind
of cancer we were dealing with.  Buddies cancer was small cell, slow
growing and requires a different chemo protocal than a large cell faster
more aggressive cancer.
