Melissa,
I'd very much like to talk about your fosters!  How old are they?  How did they come to you?  One, (among many), of the heartbreaking aspects of my bottle babies being diagnosed with FeLV, is the fact that I won't be able to foster any more tinnies.  I love being surrogate mom.  My trouble is I'm great at rescue, great at rehabilitation, lousy at adoption.  It takes me all of 2 minutes to become completely attached.  It's so hard to let them go into the world.  They don't even write!

Where about in NJ are you?  I found my husband in NJ, we now live in CA.

I am in Bergen County, Hackensack. I have five fosters who are about 5 months old now and are all black. I have had them since they were about 7 weeks old when they started hanging out on my terrace during a rainstorm--their den got flooded by the downspout positioned in front of it, so they went for high ground. I caught all but mama cat and took them in. I didn't take them to the shelter since it was the height of kitten season and when I had them vetted and they turned up positive, I knew I was in it for the long haul. Once they have recuperated, I will be flying two of them down to Joy Eubanks at the Marley Fund who is making room especially for them, since they are losing their foster situation with me due to housing. Then in a few more weeks the remaining three will make the trip. Let's hear it for the Marley Fund! Buy their Calendar!!! http://www.marleyfund.com

I know, it's a shameless plug, but they have been so amazing to do this.

Anyway, I have been keeping a web log of the kitten happenings, including their pictures. You can see it here:

I would attach a photo, but I am not sure it will go through.
