After an emerg. vet visit last night and then the reg. vet today, it's not
clear what the problem is....might be Hemobart (Jim's RBC was 40-I
think-last night). If not Hemobart, then a liver issue. :( Anyway, we are
waiting for the confirmation test on the Hemobart, treating with baytril
injections (since he was having tummy troubles, we are staying away from
Doxy unless absolutely necessary), and he got some subQ fluids to
counteract the dehydration from diarrhea. He won't eat on his own, but I
was able to syringe some AD earlier -- as a test to see if he would let me
and to see if he would keep it down, he did and he has. So, now, how much
should I try to get in him?? Absent a real emerg. we might not return to
the vet until Thurs--but if he won't eat....then he may have to go back
sometime tomorrow.

Thanks!

PS--he is only 3 or 4, FeLV+, but otherwise, pretty healthy. It does
appear that he has lost a pound since May (although, I think that may have
happened ony recently) up until last night, he was acting/eating the
same--always looking for treats.
