I am so sorry for your loss  with the passing of Caramel. I have been
rescuing FELV+ cats and kittens for 12+yrs. I have a wonderful vet of
21yrs who works with me to give my cats the best possible life they can
have. We have learned together that the kindest thing to do, is that
when the FELV "Kicks In", is to put them to sleep. It never gets any
easier. All we can do is give them lots of  love for the time they are
with us. I feel blessed to have had the number of cats I have had  in my
life.
