Dear Michelle,
It seems to me that I remember you are in Boston area; the only MSPCA hospital I have used is the one in Springfield and I was impressed.
There is also an Emergency Veterinary hospital in Farmington, CT (kind of a haul, I know) where my dear friend Dr. Kim Meier is on staff; I don't know if she's on tonight, though.
Here's their info: http://www.doubleavet.com/474596.html
It's so difficult to decide what to do sometimes; keep Simon where he is known and where
it's familiar, or say 'dammit, this cat's getting a transfusion no matter where I have to go'.
Take care; your both in my thoughts and prayers. Come on, Simon, kick butt!
Love, Julie
