Best Friends sanctuary has an online list serv called No More Homeless Pets,
which invites a different expert every week to answer questions from list
members in the resuce community. A few months ago, the expert for a week was a
woman who is a professional disaster planner for shelters and rescues. She was
actually answering questions while in Florida dealing with one of the
hurricanes. if you go to the Best Friends website, www.bestfriends.org, and
look for
the archives to the No More Homeless Pets forum, you should be able to find her
information, tips, and links to resources.
