dear julie, i have no experience with cancer, but i think you are in the right line of thought. maybe you should find a good homeopath vet who can recommend the best treatment to boost her immune system, and let her be happy until time tells you both its time. My Riso was diagnosed with severe pancreatitis 5 months ago, the vet said he would live no more than 2 months, and no treatment would get him better. she is an excellent vet. we called our homeopath vet and she recommended a fruit tonic for his blood, phosphorus for his fear, bach flowers and fish oil (for the omegas). he is still doing quite fine, you wouldn't notice he is sick, except for him being so thin. i feel we are giving him the best quality of life possible for us, and he seems happy and grateful. my homeopath vet also ordered some chinese herbs from the US for suppressed immune systems, and we put them in the food of the kids once in a while to help. if anybody is interested i can send you the name and website.
