On gut instinct, assuming it also can't do her any harm, I guess I'd be
inclined to go with the dox again, despite what the vet's office
says....
Sending out lots of positive vibes, for Grace's renewed perkiness, and
for your very understandably stressed-out self, Nina.
Maybe Grace is just in a quiet mood?
Hope so...take care, Kerry

Subject: Grace and doxycycline

As I told you in my last update on Grace and Jazz (the feline interferon

kitties), I had been cutting the dose of Grace's doxycycline down, (I
was at a morning dose, every other day). She was doing phenomenally
well. When I spoke to my vet's office they told me I might as well stop

giving her dox, because at that protocol it wouldn't do her any good.
Apparently it's effects are non-existent if it's not maintained in the
body, I forget if it's suppose to be every 12 hours or 24. Well, I
stopped giving it to her two days ago, and this morning she's not her
perky self. Now, I know how hyper-vigilant I can be, and I may be
imagining all this, but I swear, if she gets sick again, I'm going to
scream, pull my hair out, and just possibly run away from home!

Feeling a bit stressed,
Nina
