Although, these reports do not sound encouraging, you never know what tomorrow will bring. I'm praying that they figure out what's going on (fast), and you get him on a treatment that will turn this all around. Hang in there.
Also, just in case your not aware, you can get "poopy pads" at hospital supply stores, (this may already be what you guys were talking about). They've got blue plastic on one side, and an absorbent lining on the other. I seem to recall them being pretty inexpensive.
