Hi Chris I apologize in advance for I realize this is hardly helpful, but ....is there any possible way that Tre can find somewhere ELSE to stay for all of them--herself and her 2 kitties?  Her friend doesn't sound very friendly (tho I totally understand the friend's fears, since she isn't educated about FeLV) plus Tre will be separated from her little furballs for an awful long time. Sorry, I know it's not helpful, and prob out of the question for reasons we're not aware of, but she may be better served diverting all the energy into that direction???? My friend has a neg. cat and wants to hear nothing about positives in her house, although it is a separate apartment I'd be living in in her house. I'm agonizing over what to do now and the only thing I can think of is to find a foster home for my 2 kitties, Hairy Potter and Mouse. I will be situated in my own place sometime about August/September, so we're talking up to 8 months of fostering I'd need. I can't see permanently parting with these two, they are part of our family and I'm so worried they wouldn't end up in a home that would keep the same kind of promise for life to them. Is anyone here located between Georgia and Ohio who could see fostering these two for me? I would pay all expenses, incl. food, vitamins etc, whatever is needed. They are dog and cat friendly, very laid back and don't require much attention, Potter likes to just be fat and lazy and Mouse takes a while to want to come around, she was the Russian Blue Stray we rescued from Jacksonville. Neither have any symptoms of FeLV whatsoever, are perfectly healthy, completely litterbroken and do not destroy anything. Very easy keepers. Please, is there anyone who has the room? Please let me know, I am moving on Jan. 29 and I desperately need to find a solution to this dilemma. Thanks so much and I hope all your furry babies are doing well.
