Here's
another possibly off the wall idea, and one that's far from ideal,
since Tre would still be separated from her kitties, but I'll mention it anyway
since we're talking desperate: is there any chance Tre could do an 8-month swap
with someone she knows and trusts that is already fostering 2 healthy, non
FeLV kitties, and could safely give a home to Tre's FeLV kitties
instead? Tre's friend apparently has no objection to healthy cats, right?

Below is a message from Tre who is in FELV+ Yahoo group… She had trouble getting into this talk list & I told her I would crosspost. She is in a really terrible situation and has really worked hard to keep Potter (a stray) healthy and Mouse (a FELV+ she worked really hard to save from a rescue in Florida). In subsequent e-mails she posted more details about her situation, particularly the friend who reneged on their agreement—seems the friend’s vet is one of those we all dread—gave her all sorts of horrible info about FELV! Tre is in Georgia but willing to drive just about anywhere to place them in temporary situation.
Is ther anyone here who might be able to help her or suggest something… I know everyone is always pretty full but I told her I would try….. Her e-mail address is TDLF [EMAIL PROTECTED] & she is really desperate….
