Jill,
Thank you, I can not say how grateful I am for all of the support and kind words, yes he was and will always be beautiful, I just now need to etch the good pictures and moments in my mind instead of the bad ones, I seem to only see him lying in his carrier bleeding, leaving me forever...ok enough of that. I am telling my son tonight so we can have the weekend together, and he won't have to go to school, I hope he takes it well, he misses him dearly.
I am glad you like the site, I am getting a memorial page also, when it is up and running I will let you know so you can check out more photos of my special guy ;-))

Cherie,
I'm so sorry about your little Snowball. I saw your
site and he was beautiful!
If it helps to know this at all, my cat died last
March and when they heard about it, my brother's 3
kids sent me a sympathy card (ages 7, 8, 12).
Although they didn't live with me, they knew and loved
Semuta (8 years old when he died). Whenever they saw
me after that they would be a little sad and say "I'm
sorry about Semuta, Aunt Jill" but it only took a
couple months for them to talk about Semuta and his
death without being visibly sad about it.
Kids are pretty resilient, sometimes moreso than
adults. I think your son will recover from his grief
quickly and you will each be a comfort to each other.
Hang in there!
Jill
