I am so sorry to hear that chemo did not help simon beat this awful illness.  I 
always feel that spending some one on one quiet time without and meds or 
doctors allows me to really see what's going on in my fur kids heads when the 
time is nearing.  We sit just the 2 of us and talk and I pet only the favorite 
areas.  It gives them and me some relief from the overwhelming issue at hand.  
Give simon a pet for me, I wish you all the best, you'll know if he isn't 
comfortable.  I believe in euthanasia as much as I am against it.  Quality of 
life is so hard to evaluate, its different for each cat.  I am sure you and 
simon will know what to do next.
