Cherie, I've also found poetry helps sometimes. I hope this one helps
you.
Weep and Weep Well Weep, and weep well, for our losses, though not for their passing. For they have gone to a place
where blind eyes can see, deaf ears can hear, and old, weak, and broken bodies are young, healthy, and whole once more. Flesh and bone
may wither and die, but the Consciousness and the Love survives. They may be gone,
yet they're with us still. In our hearts and thoughts, and in our daily lives. Comforting us.
Guiding us.
And patiently waiting for the day
when we come home to them once more, with Our youth and health restored. Weep, and weep well, for our losses
for it shows the love we shared, and celebrates the life they lived, and the love we will always have. Celebrate their lives
by living ours to the fullest, and telling their stories with Love and a Smile. Kathy "Every time you meet a situation, though you think at the time it is an impossibility and you go through the tortures of the damned, once you have met it and lived through it, you find that forever after you are freer than you were before." ~ Eleanor Roosevelt |
