That's too cute!  :)  Sounds like my Ewok (nickname "Burboy"--short for "Baby 
Boy" because he was the last born and subsequently the "youngest" as far as cat 
siblings go!)...our living room, front room and kitchen are set up like a race 
track...if I set out in one direction, he takes off in the other to "cut me 
off!"  Of course, I'll try to trick him and fake like I'm going one way then 
*try* to sneak up behind him as he looks for me...it worked only once before he 
caught on to that one...now, whenever I try it, he looks at me as if to say, 
"What are you *doing*??  You're ruining the game!!"  :)  Of course, I have to 
then pick him up and kiss and hug him (which, apparently to him, is pure 
torture) because he's too cute...I'm surprised he hasn't caught on to that yet! 
 Perhaps, deep down inside, he really likes the lovin', but his "cat-pride" 
just can't let on that he does!  ;)
