Have any of you used Torbutrol or another form of Butorphenol for pain?
Simon does not seem to be in pain, just weak and perhaps dizzy or something
when
he walks, but I read that liver cancer can cause pain. I have Torbutrol here,
which was prescribed for a dog, and someone sent me the link with the dosage
for cats. I was thinking of giving Simon one prohylactically, but the possible
side effects for cats include disorientation, and he is not disoriented now so
I thought that would be horrible. So I am holding off. But I thought I would
see if anyone has used it or heard of it being used, or had any ideas as to
whether I would know if Simon's liver was causing him any pain.
