Hi again Karolyn...I think yr reply below may be in reply to my Q? If
so, sorry, I meant the Blood Panel you talk about below. Did you have it
done to test for FeLV? Or is there another reason for testing? Thanks,
Kerry

that was very sick a couple weeks ago. He is now fine. I took him into
my home, aprox. 4yrs. ago, because he tested +. He tested - on the Blood
Panel so either the original test was a false positive or the virus has
gone into the bone marrow. If it is the bone marrow it can lay there
dormant for yrs.<<<<

No, I don't have a Blood Panel done on the cats I take in. I just go by
the test that is done at a vet's office. I don't have the funds to do a
Blood Panel every time I take in a cat. A lot of the cats I have taken
in came from a rescue group

Hi Karolyn
Could you please clarify for me...do you have the blood panel done to
test for FeLV? Kerry

Hi, Since I mix my +&- Once they have been tested I don't test again
unless one gets sick. Then I have a Blood Panel done.I have a 10yr. old
that was very sick a couple weeks ago. He is now fine. I took him into
my home, aprox. 4yrs. ago, because he tested +. He tested - on the Blood
Panel so either the original test was a false positive or the virus has
gone into the bone marrow. If it is the bone marrow it can lay there
dormant for yrs.
