No hairballs, things are better this morning...I am thinking I worried all for naught, but then I am a little leary since I do have a +, but they have coexisted prior to me knowing.

Just an observationI stopped giving Big Boy the Hairball formula after he started throwing upI figured out he could just wolf those little pieces down without chewing & I think that made him throw up as when I switched back to regular, which are too large to just swallow, he stopped.  Also, what about hairballs? Could that be a problem

Also, your concern about mixing food.  I tried for about a week to separate food for Tucson & Big Boy )(+) from my other 3what a disaster!  I found it impossible to do==they are all mixed.  Just to add to other comments about mixing3 of mine were around Tucson for 2-4 years without FELV+ shots before I learned she was +.  They have all tested twice now and have their FELV shots.  I figure if they didnt get it in all that time, they will be OK.  It would have been silly and more traumatic to substantially change their routine.  The negs will get retested every year when they get their shots.

Subject: Tigger concern

Tigger my oldest (6) years old, is now having keeping Iams Hairball formula down, she eats it and vomits. She now is being really picky, more so than usual, and when she does eats it would appear she vomits even wet food back up, I have cleaned up 3 piles so far today. Should I concern myself with this, since I have just leanered about Amber being FeLV positive and Snowball passing, or am I being paranoid, since all those things just happened.

Usually I would not concern myself with a little vomit, unless it goes on for a few days, because with so many and everyone mixing food, sometimes they do get sick, but since all this happened I am a little more concerned.

Thanks for listening

Cherie
