Hi
Cherie
I'm
coming late to this discussion, but here's my 2 cents worth----dump the Iams and
start 'em on a really high quality food (ie one without additives, preservatives
and junk that we humans wouldn't eat). Those high quality foods, such as eg
Wellness and Innova (there are many more, that other list members, better
informed than me, use) are NOT sold by the big chains, but by the
independent pet stores, and thru online retailers. (I've seen Newman's, which I
believe is also supposed to be top-grade, in
Wholefoods.)
I
always thought Iams was the gold standard until I found this wonderfully
informed group. Now there's nothing in my local Petsmart or Petco
that I would willingly feed my cats on!
Good
luck! Kerry

Subject: Tigger concern
Tigger my oldest (6) years old, is now having keeping Iams Hairball formula
down, she eats it and vomits. She now is being really picky, more so than usual,
and when she does eats it would appear she vomits even wet food back up, I have
cleaned up 3 piles so far today. Should I concern myself with this, since I have
just leanered about Amber being FeLV positive and Snowball passing, or am I
being paranoid, since all those things just happened.
Usually I would not concern myself with a little vomit, unless it goes on
for a few days, because with so many and everyone mixing food, sometimes they do
get sick, but since all this happened I am a little more concerned.
Thanks for listening
Cherie
