Completely off the beaten path, but on Thursday I rescued a mouse from a window well in my basement, it has been 10 degress and below for 5 or 6 days now, so I thought I would put him in a cage and give him a blanket and food and let him go when it gets warmer. I kept him in the garage away from the animals and my son, just in case he had something, and this morning I found him dead. What if I left him alone, would he have lived, so now this month I lost a perfectly healthy one day and gone the next Snowball, and now I think I killed this mouse....
Thanks for listening, I have no one else to vent to, since I have to keep a firm upper lip for my son, who is also upset over this.
