Hello Ludmila,
http://ddd.uab.cat/search?f=authorcount&p=0&sc=1 (5,466 hits)
http://ddd.uab.cat/search?p=and+not+author%3A%24-%3E~&sc=1 (94
hits)
So, we are without a generic expression to find missing values.
And, as far as the librarians are concerned, this search is
important.
You might be hitting some limitations we've put in place for making
sure that simple user searches don't stress the DB beyond a certain
point. Could you please check the URL bellow (I've added wl=0 -
meaning no wildcard limit) logged in as admin or somebody with
cataloguing (bibedit) rights:
http://ddd.uab.cat/search?p=and+not+author%3A%24-%3E~&sc=1&wl=0
Yes, still 94, and I happen to have superadmin rights...
So no issue with wildcard limits :-)
Then maybe there are some troubles with 'and not' at the beginning of a query..
I'll need to investigate.
Meanwhile, -author:$->~ seems to give the good results:
http://ddd.uab.cat/search?p=-author%3A%24-%3E~&sc=1 => 5472 records
Since authorcount:0 yields 6 results less, this is how you can check them:
http://ddd.uab.cat/search?p=-author%3A%24-%3E~+-authorcount%3A0+&sc=0
Cheers,
Ludmila
