It has a special code for the event, but no special rate, oddly. Currently, online gives you $139 but they told me $119 over the phone. > I think that the Marriott's special rates just cover the weekend. They cover Friday-Sunday. However, they are willing to extend the rate until Monday if they can. Well, Tanya did. $124. Note they have *wired* Internet— oooo! It's also a wee bit closer for what it's worth. > think they just assumed that people in Bellingham for the Fest would > be checking out on Sunday to go home. > (I'll make a note of this so the organization committee can remember > to discuss it before next year's Fest.) Yeah, I think that would be a good idea. I tend to take the train if I'm headed North or South. Unfortunately, the train departs right as LFNW ends, which doesn't offer a lot of time to get one's affairs in order. Thus, I need to wait until Monday. I think it might be wise to base the event around plane, train, and bus schedules. …or offer a party bus option ☺ -- @wxl | http://polka.bike Lubuntu Release Manager, Head of QA Ubuntu PPC Point of Contact Ubuntu Oregon LoCo Team Leader Eugene Unix & GNU/Linux User Group Co-Organizer _______________________________________________ Fest-list mailing list [email protected] http://lists.blug.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/fest-list
