I'm glad you managed to find something that works for you. Wired
internet at the Marriott huh? Very interesting.

I don't know what to say about La Quinta. I thought they were supposed
to have a special rate for us but since I'm not the one who secured
our room blocks and I missed a few meetings I don't remember what the
deal we worked out with them was.

I understand the frustration, trains out of Bellingham are not
convenient for anyone but Amtrak. I've tried to take Amtrak out of
Bellingham before and ended up using Greyhound. I don't think that
scheduling the Fest around the various transportation schedules would
be feasible, but I will see what we can do about getting Fest rates
extended at the hotels next year.

As cool as a party bus option would be, I don't think it's within the
realm of possibility in the near future. :-)
