Actually the most viewed video from SELF was from 3 years ago. :) The videos that were *just* posted from self have a dozen or so views.
Numbers are, in fact, the only thing that really matter in this. If people don't see the videos... the videos don't really accomplish much -- and they don't serve to promote SELF, either. In fact, quite the opposite. A large number of videos from a conference, all with sub-100 total views, makes the conference appear (to those not in the know) that nobody goes there and nobody cares about it. And, hence, that it is not worth the time to even think about. That may be harsh... but it's true. If you are an event organizer... what would you prefer to help spread the word about your event: A) 10 videos with 50 views each. B) 1 video with 500,000 views. -Bryan On Mon, Jun 15, 2015 at 10:08 AM, Scott Dowdle <[email protected]> wrote: > Greetings, > > ----- Original Message ----- >> Well... to be fair... you're missing one. :) >> >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zu0l-Ac7fTU >> >> And, if we're really comparing videos from one fest to another... the >> most viewed video, ever (that I am aware of), from SELF has 5,213 >> views.
