Hi all,
We've been working hard for a while, to find great ways to share
content while respecting everyone's freedoms. We at the Org committee
realize that "social media" isn't for everyone, especially a lot of our
fans right here in BLUG.
So, we've added a blog for LinuxFest Northwest. Any content that we
post to social media will also be posted to the blog, and you can
subscribe to the RSS feed anonymously. We're using Jekyll, a static
site generator, so even if you turn off all the CSS & JS, you'll still
get readable pages, and all the assets are being served directly from
the blog, instead of using CDNs. The host, if you're curious, is
gitlab.com, where we're doing our development.
And without further ado... the URL is
http://blog.linuxfestnorthwest.org
... or http://blog.lfnw.org for short. Click the RSS icon at the top or
the bottom, for the RSS feed.
And of course, it's all open source: https://gitlab.com/lfnw/lfnw-blog

LFNW Conductor & chief web monkey
P.S. The old LinuxFest Northwest site just under the static content
knife as well.... http://2017.linuxfestnorthwest.org is now statically
served from gitlab too, to preserve our historical content, long after
the Drupal site is deprecated.
