I'm going to make a request -- and feel free to ignore this request if you like.

I'd like to request that SeaGL content not be forwarded to the LFNW list. The SeaGL organizers have repeatedly attacked other people, threatened them (including me) with violence, and spread known lies (read: libel and slander) against individuals. They are, quite literally, one of the most vile, offensive, and cruel portions of the broader Linux world... and having promotion of them here on the LFNW (one of the kindest, most wonderful parts of the Linux world) list makes me sad.

It is, essentially, akin to promoting an event from a hate group (which SeaGL behaves as such) at an elementary school.

I'll refrain from posting the specifics, as I know that at least some of this is well known by LFNW organizers.

Feel free to ignore... but I have decided to take a firm stance against such hate.

To be 100% clear: Love you guys. LFNW is amazing and all of you rule.

moin moin,

our cfp closes Wednesday. Wednesday is also our final office hour this
year. It's at noon in IRC in the #SeaGL channel on Freenode.

The ShellCon cfp closes Monday. ShellCon is an InfoSec conference with
a careers track called RaiseMe.
