Russell, I've asked and got the answer below. I wish he had given a real
answer about the screen resolution but it does looks like testing will be a
possibility. I'm going to cut him some slack though because they are very,
very, busy at BTC right now. There's a huge list of things that they need
to get done and a list of things that it would be nice to have if they get
the time.

Most of the presentations will be in the new Campus Center building this
year. We do have our Brown Paper Tickets room in building G for some of the
larger presentations.

I will add this to my list of things to ask for in an FAQ for next year.

The projectors are only about a year old, so I think your resolution is
fine, but we can also make sure that you can get in and test if necessary.**

Greg, or anyone who knows, do we have recommended screen resolutions for
the projectors? Some of the speakers are wondering on the fest list.****

****

As a speaker, can anyone tell me what screen resolutions are acceptable for
the projectors?****

** **

I have a neat ASUS Transformer Infinity Android tablet with a VGA cable,
but I suspect it will be too high def for all but the most modern
projectors.****

** **

If I have to use my laptop, it would be useful to reset the resolution
before my session so as not to waste time.****

** **

If the resolutions are not known, can I get a few minutes to test the
resolution, maybe first thing in the morning?****

** **

Thanks,****
