Yeah, I'm afraid I do this a lot. For some reason, I get into the frame of
mind that says the person reading my story might not have all the background
information at hand. It's like I forget the target audience of fanfic...
Actually, I used to write out the obvious in papers for college classes as
well. A couple of English profs cured me of that for a while.

To be honest, neither do I!
I do plan on writing more of this, but first I've got to do some outlining.
The last big fic I started got away from my original plan, and thus has been
stuck in limbo for quite a while.
