Hi Ludovic If you want to create some FFmpeg-adjacent game. I think its a nice idea.
That said, I think there are two points that should be clarified.
First, I cannot grant any permissions beyond what you already have.
That said, i dont think you need any.
Second, there is no "FFmpeg Foundation" as far as I know. If you want to
direct donations or sponsorship money toward FFmpeg, the appropriate place
to look at is FFmpeg’s SPI arrangement and the donation information on
ffmpeg.org.
So from my point of view, if you use a clear and prominent disclaimer such as
"FFmpeg is a trademark of Fabrice Bellard. ffmpuzzle is not affiliated with or
endorsed by the FFmpeg project.",
that sounds much more sensible than implying approval from ffmpeg-devel.
If your intention is to support FFmpeg financially in the future, then pointing
users to the official FFmpeg donation page / SPI path would likely be the
cleanest way to do that.
