 I ran the test against the whole .dvr-ms file (2h12m), and confirmed that
 audio and video in the resulting .avi output file was in sync all the way
 through. How should we apply these findings towards use of the current
 version of FFmpeg, taking into account the observations I made in comment
 10 of this thread.
