Why should the users that have reported the issue react on the development
mailing list?
Why do we (suddenly!) refuse to fix regressions?
Why should we handle libspeex different from other external libraries like
x264?
It is very easy to fix this ticket, I am strongly opposed to closing it
just because not all developers use systems without pkg-config or want to
force everybody to use it.
