Hi Dee Dee and Fiber netters.
I've seen white and gray color bands in NC fleeces at some of the
fleece shows. Not all of them have shown tenderness or breaks.
I've processed some and they've been fine. However, something
caused the change in the lock, so it could be a copper problem.
Test for strength before you buy.
Bunnies grow their color at the tips or ends of the hair shaft.
The rest of the hair shaft is white. Sheep color is on the whole
hairshaft.
