Hi all,

I too learned to crochet at an early age from my Grandmother. One year
after 7 Hairpin lace afghans I decided I needed to learn to knit. In my
area there were no classes. After trying to learn using several books, I
too found the Continental method and was able to master knitting
finally. I think that holding the yarn in the left hand and picking
stitches and not having that feeling of possibly dropping needles while
throwing the yarn is more comfortable for someone accustomed to crochet.
