i spun some of the best 3 ply from a white cormo fleece i purchased from
donna several years ago. not only was the fleece ultra clean, it was one of
the nicest fleeces i've ever spun. i'm actually knitting a scarf (for
myself!) with some of it, and saving the rest for that "perfect" project.
i've met donna several times at the VT sheep & wool festival and she's a
wonderful person.
just waiting for that jet black cormo to go with my white......
also, for those of you that remember me, i'm back on the list! my partner
jeff and i bought a house two years ago and it's been a lot of work putting
in gardens, etc. With 6 acres of land, we have 2.5 open meadow, so in our
"10 year" plan, there are sheep! (how many sheep can you fit on 2.5 acres?!)
i'm still spinning, although not as much, or often. i'll post a longer
update later, with specifics about what i'm doing.
