Hello Fibernetters. I checked with my copyright guru, a reference librarian at SUNY Buffalo, who deals with this stuff all the time. Fred said: cut and paste of entire articles is verboten. Sending a URL or a brief summary is OK. He didn't comment on the newspapers that have a link that lets you send a copy to a friend. But I assume that's like making a personal copy at the copy machine, and that sending to 1000 friends on an e-mail list would be a few too many friends. The NY Times has a link that lets you put articles into printable format, but, again, I figure the purpose of that is for personal use. Lambing continues in relative calm, for the most part. We had a couple of wild lambings, which is par for the course, triplets where one or two were backwards. Too bad they came on successive days, one ewe was ketotic and needed extra care. Time consuming. Then things have settled down. Nice set of purebred natural colored Romneys, just starting to wobble to their feet, when I ck'd the barn at 6:30 this a.m. This brings us to over 50 lambs so far, and about 20 ewes left to lamb. I was hoping for 80 from this lambing; we/they might do it!
