Peggy's post reminded me of a wonderful thing: I complained (ok. I whined)
about chronic dry skin on my hands. Said dry skin led to some kind of
fungal infection, that took over 8 months to clear up. The dermatologist
said the dry skin provided a home for the fungus. I used all the advertised
hand creams, kept my hands out of water, the whole nine yards. The dry skin
would not go away.
Peggy, bless her, sent me some beeswax hand cream. <holding up hands for
inspection> LOOK!!! Most of the dry skin is gone! I'm very happy. No place
for the fungus to find a home.
I highly recommend her hand cream to anyone that suffers from chronic dry
skin. A very small amount goes a long way. No affiliation, etc., etc., just
a very satisfied person.
