Cool Aid Dyes

Hello,
        I  was wondering if anybody knows of a ratio,  weight of wool 
/cool aid.  I have a couple of  pounds of spun wool I would like to 
try to dye with cool aid.  I would also like to know if I can do the 
dyeing somewhere else besides a microwave.  The one I have is tiny, 
since I seldom use one.
