I've never tried this but I figure if I toss it out, Fibernetters will have
the answer in a hurry.
A member of my spinning guild who does a lot of work with cotton said that a
little, hand operated home pasta machine will do the job. I have one I've
never used and probably never will, so I took it to a guild meeting, but we
never got around to it :-(
