There was a site up that had plans for a home gin made with saw blades.....
I looked at it and figured it would take around $100 or so to make it up
and they admitted it wasn't that efficient and it tended to tear the cotton
(I think it has since been taken down). I don't know of anyone that
processes commercially (other than the big boys who do it for the growers).
You're also supposed to be able to do it on the supermerino PG carder drum
(I didn't care for the results but figure there *must* be a trick to that
one.....). I figure I just haven't got it yet <LOL>.
