That's the beauty of magazines...there is often something for everyone inside. Myself, I liked the cover sweater...but I have a flock of Shetlands in exactly those shades. In fact I was thinking of making something similar...I'd probably make it out of a finer weight yarn and instead of solid bands of color, would blend the yarns so that when knitted there wouldn't be lines of demarcation...but that's just me. If I raised moorit shades of sheep, I'd use a teal color instead of the rose, but with grays...rose works. Not wild about short-rowing garter stitch, looks a bit lumpy. On to the rest of the magazine, look at that handspun, handwoven silk...not my style but I certainly can admire the craftsmanship! The articles by Rita are always good. I even enjoy reading all the ads. So, skip over what you don't like and look at the positive things.
