Yes, Mirjam, these tapestries are housed in a beautiful museum called the Cloisters on the northern tip of Manhattan Island (New York City). I am not sure of the history of this museum but it is either an actual old Monastery/Cloister from Europe or recreated from an original. THe tapestries are housed in this exquisite building. The last I was there was in the 70's. Guess I shld go back now that I am interested in fiber arts.
