Let me add my voice to those urging the folks who didn't care for the current Spin Off magazine, and for that matter, those who did, write to the editor and tell her. Give it some thought and try to be as specific as you can. Saying you don't like the new format isn't all that much help. Try to determine what you don't like about it. Don't like the cover sweater (it's almost a signature knit of Meg Swanson's) tell them why. Just saying it's ugly isn't specific. What is it you don't like - the color, the stitch, the style, the model. These people are very responsive. Last fall I attended SOAR for the first time and Amy and the staff went out of their way to find out what spinners wanted from the magazine. They organized discussion groups, talked to participants, even had a table in the dining hall reserved for anyone who wanted to talk about the magazine's direction as we ate dinner. Let me tell you, for all the times I've been to Stitches, no one at XRX has asked subscribers to sit with them at dinner and discuss Knitters magazine. So, for pity's sake, don't just b....h to the listers, write to Spin Off. They really do want to hear from us and that make them very special indeed. :-) To stop mail temporarily mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: set nomail To restore send: set mail
