Margie, Probably not! LOL But I will try: In regular long tail cast on, the needle is held in the right hand and the yarn to be cast on is held in the left. A slip knot in the yarn is placed on the needle. The ball yarn is looped around the first finger and the tail yarn is looped around the thumb. (This makes four strands of yarn on the left hand.) The needle is passed under the yarn nearest me, or the first yarn strand, then under the third, then back under the first. One loop made. What I did was to hold the yarn and needle the same. But I passed the needle under the fourth strand, then under the second strand, then back under the fourth, forming a loop. All it is, is working back to front instead of front to back.
