Subject: Re: Woolee Winder fix

My Woolee Winder for the Louet did the same thing and needed the threaded 
screw replaced.  At the time, the maker of the system was still available to 
fix things, but wasn't making any new ones (or at least he told me it would 
take more than a year to get one for my Schacht). Personally, I haven't heard 
that he died, just is slowing way down.  So if you have the original info, 
call him and ask about a replacement part.  Otherwise, I think you could have 
it machined somewhere.  The whole winder piece comes apart and you can take 
that long screw piece (the one that makes the wool move) to someone.

I sold all my Woolee Winders 2 years ago, but might still have info.
