I'll take this opportunity to note that I also got my fleeces back from
Yolo, the ones I posted that I was worrying about recently.

The finished product is beautiful. I haven't spun any up yet, due to time
constraints and an injury that makes it uncomfortable to spin (or weave or
knit; I'm going crazy here), but it sure looks pretty. My only complaint is
that one box smelled strongly of moth-proofing chemicals when I opened it.
If I smell the fleece directly, it doesn't have that smell, but when I
opened the bag it was strong. I expect the fleece was packed in a reused
bag. I'm glad I don't have chemical sensitivities, which would cause that
particular fiber to be unusable, if not dangerous to me.

Thanks to everyone who sent me comments about their experiences with Yolo,
and also Gail White who sent me good information about the prep process and
a reasonable time schedule for receiving my products back. Yolo did return
my fiber according to Gail's suggested schedule, but their response to
customer inquiry is really dismal. Next time I send out fiber I don't think
I'll be sending it there. I hope that their recent business management
changes help their business, but I'm not sure I have the patience to try
again.
