Hi Christy, The blanket edge salvages are available from Pendleton Woolen Mills in OR and in NB. Check with their outlet stores for availability. I believe they will do mail order, but you take what you get and that can be a real hodge podge. I got some from the NB store a few months ago that had a lot of orange in it. I overdyed the material with ProChem Acid dye and the orange turned to a yellow green, much more appealing.
Your daughter should be able to overdye the beige yarn if she uses a darker color. It shouldn't muddy it too much if it is really light beige. Be sure to skein it off and tie it loosely in several places. After dyeing, wash in hot soapy water to remove the excess dye. I usually shock my yarns with a very cold last rinse to pre-shrink them before making anything with them. Have fun, Gail White To stop mail temporarily mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: set nomail To restore send: set mail
