Well, it was about 6 years ago and I'm not a note-keeping kind of
girl, but here's what I remember. The Finn-Lincoln was quite silky
(with the softness of Finn and the luster of Lincoln) . I made a
two-ply--I'm guessing about 25 wraps per inch. The mohair was
yearling grade and I have a strand of it about every half inch. The
sett was 15 epi in a plain 2/2 twill. I ended up with about 5 yards,
22" wide.

I did think about just cutting in in half and sewing it together for
a blanket, but I like blankets bigger than 44" wide.

The coat is on a brief pause because my sewing room is in an
outbuilding (which is nice to have a "studio" ) but we never have
gotten an electrical upgrade done (it's on the "things to do" list)
and while there's enouch electicity to run a sewing machine and get
an iron more-or-less hot, there's not enough to run a heater. I'm
too lazy to drag all my sewing stuff into the house, and my hands get
too cold to hold pins in a room that's only 40 degrees. But cold
just doesn't last in Florida so I should be able to finish it this
weekend (when I can work on it during the day instead of at night).
